Chillisoft Earns Spot in Deloitte Fast500 for Five Consecutive Years
Between 2006 and 2010, Chillisoft was proudly listed in the Deloitte NZ Technology Fast 50 for Asia Pacific, earning recognition for its rapid and sustained business growth. These acknowledgements placed Chillisoft among the fastest-growing tech companies in the region and highlighted the company’s strong performance during a critical phase of digital expansion.
In 2010, Chillisoft was one of 50 New Zealand-based technology businesses to make the Fast 50 list, marking a milestone year for the local sector. This was the first time such a large number of Kiwi companies were represented, reflecting the strength and momentum of New Zealand’s tech industry during the country’s early digital boom. When adjusted for population size, New Zealand had the highest representation of any country on the list, confirming its growing influence in the Asia Pacific technology market.
Scoop Business covered the announcement, quoting Fast 50 program leader Matt McKendry, who emphasised how impressive it was for New Zealand businesses to thrive in competitive regional and global tech markets. Unlike primary sector industries, which often benefit from natural competitive advantages, tech firms must compete on innovation, efficiency, and strategic focus.
According to McKendry, the New Zealand companies listed—including Chillisoft—were on par with some of the world’s top tech entrepreneurs. He praised their ability to execute core business fundamentals while still staying true to long-term vision and strategy.
This recognition by Deloitte highlights Chillisoft’s early success in establishing itself as a trusted name in cybersecurity distribution and technical excellence. It also underscores the company’s role in contributing to New Zealand’s growing digital economy and tech reputation on the world stage.
Chillisoft continues to build on this foundation with a focus on innovation, education, and resilience across New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific region.
