LogRhythm, the company powering today’s security operations centres (SOCs), has announced that Chillsoft has been awarded the vendor’s Distributor of the Year for Australia and New Zealand for 2020.

The award was based on Chillisoft’s robust sales of LogRhythm security solutions over the past year, as well as its ability to deliver value-added services, strong partner relationships, and successful marketing programs.

“Chillisoft is a trusted partner for New Zealand businesses and has performed consistently well for LogRhythm in New Zealand, adding strategic value to the relationship. As a valued added distributor, the company has gone above and beyond to drive both market awareness and sales growth for LogRhythm. At the same time, their reputation speaks for itself and our award-winning LogRhythm NextGen SIEM Platform has proven to perfectly complement and integrate with their overall approach to network security,” says Simon Howe, Vice President Sales Asia Pacific, LogRhythm.

Chillisoft won the accolade based on its new business sales growth across diverse vertical markets, including healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, construction, and the primary industries sector.

The company worked closely with LogRhythm to drive proof-of-concepts and product solution demonstrations and also successfully added two new LogRhythm Managed Services Partner (MSP) Security Operation Centres (SOCs). Chillisoft now has five MSPs in New Zealand running LogRhythm SIEM to their clients including Advantage, CyberResearch, Inde, Linearstack, and NSP.

In addition, Chillisoft elevated LogRhythm’s brand awareness through initiatives such as user group meetings and the staging of its annual CybersecCon forum.

Alex Teh, CEO, Chillisoft, said, “We are delighted to receive this recognition from LogRhythm, a testament in reality to the skills and experience which we have invested in to bring the best security technologies to market and to ultimately deliver customer value. In recent years, we have focused heavily in rolling out industry leading model channel services across professional services, channel management, pre- and post-sales support, and channel marketing – and the award reflects the success of this strategy.

“Our customer base has performed exceptionally well and together with our installed base we represent one of the most successful franchises for LogRhythm across the entire Asia-Pacific region. This award is a significant milestone for our business.”

Earlier this month, LogRhythm announced that Inde, a New Zealand-headquartered, cloud-first managed services provider will deploy LogRhythm NextGen SIEM Platform to strengthen the technology maturity of its security operations centre (SOC) and support the cyber defences of its expanding base of Trans-Tasman customers. The product has been made available through Chillisoft, which will provide Inde with ongoing pre and post-sales technical training, sales, and marketing support to deliver customer success.

“During the year ahead, we look forward to further developing this relationship with Chillisoft, as well as with all our distributors in order to provide organisations with the strongest levels of protection from today’s continuously evolving threat landscape,” added Howe.
