Imperva’s Capture the Flag (CTF) is a hands-on cybersecurity competition hosted by Imperva, a global leader in DDoS protection, application security, API security, and data protection. Designed for security professionals and enthusiasts alike, this event challenges participants to solve a series of real-world security puzzles under pressure, all while sharpening their practical skills in a fast-paced environment.
The event was proudly hosted at the Chillisoft offices in Auckland, providing a comfortable and well-equipped space for the day’s challenges. Participants worked through a wide range of scenarios across domains like Application Security, Account Takeover threats, Advanced Persistent Bot threats, and API Security. Each task mirrored real-world threats – requiring competitors to either secure or uncover vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications. Points were awarded for each completed challenge, with a live leaderboard tracking progress throughout the day.
